This is a simple article on how you can remove installed programs on Windows 8 from your PC, Normally we have seen in other Windows OS, most of the programs have its own uninstall option and this can be accessed by Start>>Programs>>Uninstall. But incase of Windows 8, the uninstall procedure is done by Control panel option. Below given procedure show step by step procedure on how to uninstall programs from Windows 8.
Steps to Uninstall:
- Open the Windows 8 metro screen, click on START and select SEARCH.
- Now under the Apps list select CONTROL PANEL as shown below.
- Now under the control panel list scroll down and select ‘More Settings’, just have a look at the below shown screenshot for reference.
- A new page opens where you can see an option called ‘Uninstall a program’.
- Here you can see the list of programs which are installed to your system, now to uninstall a program just select it OR right click on where you can select Uninstall to remove it from your PC. You can also see one more option ‘CHANGE’, selecting change enables you to add or remove features, Repair, enter a product key etc., to the program.
